Real Estate Photography vs Architectural Photography
What is the difference between real estate photography and architectural photography?
- Real Estate photography is for selling houses and capturing the current state and condition of the property for sale
- Architectural photography is for showcasing an architect’s artistic vision shown in their work
Architectural photography takes a little more planning and preparation to make sure the environment being photographed is as close to perfect as possible. Â Scuff marks on floors are edited out in software, chairs and tables are placed in uniform positions, and everything looks as pristine as possible. Â The photos are to illustrate YOUR work and what you can offer your customers, not what your work looks like after it has been used for a couple months. Â Examples of this can be a complete remodel of an office building, custom kitchen remodels, or high end landscaping design.
